Ra Workshop is a great tool for windows and doors designing. If you use Excel to compute the materials for your windows quotations than Ra Workshop will be a big step ahead. With Ra Workshop your offer will look professional and will be computed with great accuracy. The quality of the offer design will impress you customer resulting in an increase of your sales.
Ra Workshop offers a range of features and tools to help you design and manufacture windows and doors. Because every business is unique, only you can decide which Ra Workshop edition is best for you. Mainly we have 3 editions:
- RA Workshop Lite – FREE basic estimation package
- RA Workshop Express – complete estimation package
- RA Workshop Professional – ultimate edition, that includes all estimation and production features
In addition, we have created a compare chart to help you determine what edition you need to use.
RA Workshop can compute any profile system for windows and doors: PVC, AL and Wood. Also, it can work out with any hardware system even if it’s an international brand or a local one. Finally, you glass list will be up and running so you can have an accurate bill of material when calculating project.
RA Workshop packages can design and calculate a complete range of openings: casements, awnings, tilt and turns. French windows, sliding, lift and slide, bifold, tilt and slide, pivots, insect screens, shutters, etc. Our more than 15 years’ experience, working with customers all over the world, made us believe, there are not windows or doors that we can’t compute. Please be aware than RA Workshop Lite FREE package has some limitation related to opening ranges that you can design.
As we have mentioned before, RA Workshop Lite is FREE. Register, download, install and it is up and running. It comes with a ready predefined demo database that can be used once the software is installed. On the other hand, if you need help from our support: installation, training, database setup, you should get a technical support package. Please visit our services and support page for more details.
Beside RA Workshop Lite that is FREE, we are offering a complete 30 days Trail version where you can test all estimation and production features. Register, download, install and it is up and running. It comes with a ready predefined demo database that can be used once the software is installed. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Try Ra Workshop for up to 30 days at no risk. If you are not 100% satisfied for any reason, please contact customer service within 30 days of purchase to request a refund. To process your request, we will need the license number.
Currently all our licenses are available based on an annually subscription package.
You may also purchase additional services like support packages, onsite training, onsite implementation, etc.
Once you purchase a license you will have access to an amount of support hours. You can use these hours for installation, training, database setup, support. All these services will be done online. If you request onsite services, this will come with extra fees. Once the support hours will used, you may purchase additional support packages.
Once you purchase a license, you will receive an Unlock Code that you can use it to activate one license. You can install the software on as many computers as you like but simultaneously you can only use it on how many licenses you have.
All files and databases are stored locally. You only need internet first time you activate the license. Also, from time to time, the software will connect to our server to check if you have a valid license. Otherwise, you do not need internet to run our software.
We are using multiple payment methods, to assure that you can purchase a license: bank transfer, online payment, paypal. Just talk with our sales team and together you will choose the best payment method for you.
Depending on how many profiles and hardware systems you are using, our support team is able to estimate the number of hours needed to fully your database setup. It is usually taking between 2 to 4 weeks from gathering the information from you or from your supplier until you can start using RA Workshop in production. Take into consideration that changes to the database may appear along the way as you will finetune your products and we can anytime help you with these changes as we are offering after delivery support to our customers.
The database setup features is open, so whatever our support team is doing in the database, you or your team as a customer can do as well. The disadvantage of managing RA Workshop database yourself is that involved more time from your team, but the big advantage will be that you will have a good knowledge of how the software is working in the background. It is up to you to take the decision to let RA Workshop team manage the database or do it yourself.
We have a support department that is in charge with trainings and any request that may come from the customers. We are supporting you via email, phone, skype or remotely connecting to your computer via TeamViewer. Also, if requested, we can send a team on site, in your showroom or factory to train and support you employees to better perform when using RA Workshop.
One of our biggest challenge is to support our customers all over the world. That’s why, people in our support department are working in shifts to assists projects in North and South America as well as Australia and New Zeeland.
At this moment, in some regions we do have some local partners that are helping us sell and support RA Workshop. Please contact our support team or check our partners page to see if we have one in your country. Otherwise, you have to rely on our European support.
We have our own development department and we are working in an Agile development environment. We are releasing a new small update every 2-3 weeks. This does not mean that the customers will be updated every 2-3 weeks, but definitely one minor update for 4-6 weeks. Also, we are trying to release a major update once a year.
We know we have a lot to work to improve our software. We are receiving daily requests from our customers with new features and ideas. Once we receive this kind of request we have different options:
- if it’s important for all our customers, we are including it the next updates (could be released in2-3 weeks, but also could be released in half a year, depending on the complexity and other development tasks
- if we do not think is creating a big impact, we put it on our queue of tasks and when we think it is time, we would develop it. In this case, you can request to add this future specially for you, but this will come with some extra fees
We have done other integration with ERP software like SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc. If you would like to integrate RA Workshop with other software, your integration team will discuss with our dev team and together will do a plan and an estimate. This services comes with extra fees.
