We are all aware of how new COVID-19 is changing everything around the world, impacting our personal and professional lives. First and foremost, our thoughts go to who’s been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. We are wishing you, your families, your business to stay healthy and safe!
As we continue to monitor the situation closely, we wanted to take a moment to summarize some of the things we are doing to keep you connected with RA Workshop and how our teams will support you further.
1. We are working from home
Our employee safety is our top priority. That’s why from 16th March we have taken the decision to move all our operations from home. We are lucky enough so our activities and infrastructure allow us to operate from anywhere around the world. Definitely this will have an impact on our response time, but safety comes first.
2. We are continuing to support our users
Our support, development and sales department are continuing to be available to our customers and prospects. All ongoing projects are managed as usual: database setup, training sessions, testing, software upgrades. If you need our assistance, feel free to contact us. Send us an email at support@raworkshop.com and you will be contacted as soon as possible. We may encounter some small delays, due to work from home process, but we will have the job done.
3. In every crisis there is a hidden opportunity
We are taking this period of time as an opportunity in terms of research and development. In the past couple of months, we were preparing a plan, that will bring a better solution to our customers. We are planning to move RA Workshop to a cloud platform, that will not only optimize the access to the software, but we allow us to create new web/mobile based applications. We are planning to come up with a set of complementary applications that will allow you to complete control your business. As the activities are slowing down, due to Corona Virus, this will give us the time to focus more on research and development. We will come back soon with a complete presentation about our short and medium development plans.
4. Take things seriously
We can share with you the experience that we have with COVID-19 in the East part of Europe. People tend to say that this is just a flue and ignore the recommendations or the restrictions governments are imposing. We are fortunate that we can work from home. Other people aren’t. Instruct your team to respect the auto isolation, as much as possible. If they will do not, this thing will spread faster than you can imagine.
We know that the current situation has effects on all of us. But we are truly convinced that this is a time when humanity should hold on together and we’ll come back stronger.
